I taught myself how to crochet when I was pregnant with my daughter. I am a lefty in a right handed world and I had a hard time learning from those I knew and since this was before the internet I had to figure it out on my own. I took my crochet book and a mirror, propped the mirror up on the couch and the book on my legs and proceeded to teach myself how to crochet! I have been very determined in all that I do ever since, I've helped raise 5 children and our house was the house to be at on the weekends. (A great way to keep tabs on my own kids!) Our kids are now grown and off creating lives for themselves and blessing us with grand children, which is the totally amazing!
